Terracotta showcase Terracotta Magnets
Sandstone showcase Sealife frame
I made this project for a tv show to showcase the gorgeous A1 Creatives Terracotta in its just cast form. I got a cheap metal sign and painted it with a rustic paint then using decoupage glue I adhered some beautiful Stamperia decoupage paper. I then cast some items from various moulds using A1 Creatives Terracotta. I attached strong magnets to them with Heavy Body gel and they can now go on my metal sign.

I found some cheap frames at a local shop that were just crying out to be adapted so I bought some! I covered the frame with Heavy Body Gel and emptied out my pot of extra bits of sandstone that I had saved from cleaning my mixing pots. I patted them down to make sure they were secure and left it to dry for a bit before shaking off the excess. I then gave this a very light colouring with a water colour pen just so the cast pieces would stand out a bit as I didnt want to add any colour to them so that this project would be a showcase for the A1 Creatives Sandstone in its pure form! I used A1 Creatives Sandstone to cast my moulds from various companies. I have recently been learning crochet and had been practicing with some jute and thought that would go well with this project as a bit of a frame for my frameš When I had decided where everything would go I used Heavy Body Gel to secure it all in place. Then the final touch was to get a mini beach picture to place inside. I hope you like it and can see just how gorgeous the Sandstone is when cast!
