I have been making lots of flowers recently with all sorts of card, paper, fabric and Hearty air dry clay. Some from Prima moulds some from Tonic Studios, Sharon Callis, Simply made crafts and Crafters Companion dies. All then shaped and coloured with a variety of things. Inks, Pens, Pencils and Lindys sprays. So when I got this gorgeous Husn-e-nazakat mould I knew I would use some with it.
I made my Dadarkar Sunflower and Lady casts with A1 base LP01. I then used a mix of Derwent Inktense pencils and Spectrum Noir Aqua pens to colour them. Then came a first for me…. I actually managed to bring myself to cut into some gorgeous Graphic 45 paper from their Dreamland range ( I just got hold of a second set so that made it easier ) I then fixed this to the reverse side of a canvas using Amsterdam Extra Heavy Gel Medium. I coloured the remaining sides with a Spectrum Noir Aqua Pen in a similar colour to the papers and used a stars stamp, again similar to the papers to help tie it all together.
Next I placed my casts and various flowers on and around the canvas till I was happy with the positions then used my Amsterdam Extra Heavy Gel Medium to secure them all.
